D.K. Foreman

Dwayne K. Foreman was born February 3, 1978 to Mary and Howard Foreman, and was raised in Vinton a small town on the Lousiana Border. At an early age, Dwayne's mother worked when he was off from elementary school, and Dwayne spent most of his time staying at his Grandmother's home where he shared a love and passionate interest for playing the piano. He would eventually use his God-given talents for both his Churches Sunday School programs and regular worhsip sevices.In 1985, Dwayne's father purchased him his first synthesizer keyboard, that Dwayne would spend countless hours to compose and arrange beats and melodies that he would use for many years to come. In 1992, while in Junior High School, Dwayne tried out for the Percussion Group in the Vinton High School Marching Band. He remained with the marching, jazz and concert bands and performed faithfully until his graduation day of 1996.In 1997, Dwayne begin attending Southern University pursuing a degree in Computer Science, while at Southern, he worked for The Southern Digest a College newspaper as its first Online Designer / Webmaster. While leaving from The Digest Office one night, he happened to pass by the music hall building, where he heard music students praticing on the piano performing recitals. It was around this time that Dwayne took a look at his future and decided from there that he needed to return to his first love of music and the piano. It was in the following year that Dwayne decided to change to a double major to Mass Communications and Jazz Studies. It was around this time that Dwayne formed his first company, The Louisiana Artists Musicans Entertainment Center or LAMEC for short.In 2001, Dwayne moved to Norfolk, Virginia, and continued his music. In 2004, Dwayne decided to attend classes for Recording under the leadership guidance of Timothy Beale. Dwayne also formed a recording company L-II Productions. Sinced that time, Dwayne has gained numerous artists; Levi Hicks, Duvaughn Parker, Q Savage, L.evation Johnson, and the list continues to grow. In January of 2006, Dwayne met LaShawn Mulberry. It was through this meeting and the time the two spent together that Dwayne decided to work on material for his first and upcoming CD entitled "AquAries - The Dark Side of Love".Dwayne not only serves as the Chairman of L2 Corporation, but he also serves as Founder / Director of Sapphire Queen Ministries whose vision serves to Encourage, Empower, And Equip the woman of God into Excellence through Jesus Christ.
