I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I like to dream big, laugh with friends and work hard. I'm a passionate individual and I always expect the best from myself. I enjoy helping others, meeting new people and working hard in everything I do. I live a very active and healthy lifestyle. I ran cross country and track at North Central College in Naperville. Since graduating, I have remained competitive by running in several local races, the Chicago and Boston Marathons and most recently, competed in my first triathlon as well. During the winter months, I compete in stair climb races to the top of skyscrapers (i.e. Sears Tower, John hancock, Empire State Building) I'm very competitive and I like testing myself with new challenges. Professionally, I've been working in college admissions since June of 2003. I started at North Central College right after I graduated and since September, I have been working for Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. My main responsibility is to recruit and work with students through the admission and financial aid process. Besides recruiting, I work with student tour guides and I'm an active member of the Illinois Association of College Admission Counseling. The job is a lot of fun and I've worked with a lot of great people. In the future, I plan to enroll in a Master's program to get a degree in school guidance counseling.

My Interests

Self development, learning something new, touring colleges, finding sweet trails to run, mentoring others, running stairs of skyscrapers and finding other odd athletic events to run.
