About Me

Steve Holcroft was raised by a family of Meerkats quite like the family on the super show Meerkat Manor. He prides himself on his assertiveness, keen sense of smell and burrow digging skills along with his punk ethics, fondness for mid 20th century French philosophy and his goon drinking ability. Life's short.... Stunt it!my life is like these pictures, it isnt really i just find them really funny and was looking for any excuse

My Interests

Pop culture references and ways of working them into general conversations. Also i like all words where the 's' at the end is replaced with a 'z' so as to give it street cred.

I'd like to meet:

The dude above, St Timmy (rogers), Luke Covell and Andrew Symonds for good reasons.Natalie Portman or maybe just Sam from Garden State cause she was the best but both would definately be awesome

And Dwight, the man is hilarious:

And Hailer aswell

Music:

anyone with a story to tell or some bad-arse music to play really. Old, new, rock'n'roll, hip hop, country, dont care, its just got to fit the above criteria:

You Am I and various side projects, Wilco, Supergrass, Radiohead, The Boss, Creedence, Neil Young, Okkervil River, Broken Social Scene, Neutral Milk Hotel, Billy Bragg, Les Savvy Fav, Kings of Leon, BRMC, Arcade Fire, Spoon, DFA 1979, Camille, Tegan and Sara, Against Me!, Kyuss, Qotsa, Wu-tang, Dizzee Rascal, The Hold Steady, Artic Monkeys and I'm going to stop now because I'm starting to sound like the ponce I actually am...... oh and Hailer they are awesome

Movies:

Well......... where do I start, thanks to Amanda for letting me borrow an immense amount of movies from Blockbuster.
I'll watch anything that Daniel Day-Lewis is involved in and I also have a major thing for Jena Malone, Natalie Portman and Winona Ryder........
I hate Jerry Bruckheimer-esque over-produced Hollywood blockbusters where everything conveniently falls into place.-Coen Brothers -Richard Linklater -Kevin Smith................. blah blah fucking blah

Television:

Scrubs (ever since it first premiered on ch7 as one of those awesome summer ratings experiments) South Park, Boston Legal, The Office (both English and American), Arrested Development

Books:

Have read alot of books in the fantasy genre, you know like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Narnia, the Bible etc (wow controversey....but yeah i have recently read "Into the Wild" and "The Stranger" which were both hella awesome

Heroes:

LUKE COVELL and Tim Rogers straight up. Andrew Symonds (I mean lets face it, coolest hair ever), Dave Peachey for keeping it real and Tim Stead & Dave Stead
