From the small town of Dresden, Ontario rises the remarkable talents of an alternative rock, indie band with a tinge of emo. The Outside Looking In formed in late December 2006 knowing they had far too much talent to keep inaccessible to the world by concealing their original vocals, creative melodies and stalwart rock music within their bedroom walls. With the capabilities and competency of writing songs to inspire fans with chronicle yet figurative lyrics, filled with messages that virtually slaps you in the face. The Outside Looking In is made up of four endowed young men, Matt Veenstra; lead guitarist, vocalist, and Matt St.Pierre ; drummer, Thomas Harvey on rhythm guitar, backup vocals and Chris Walters on bass. The four virtuosic members show exceptional ability, technique and artistry on stage and on their début 8 track EP Waiting for Yesterday which was released on March 7th, 2007 that is available nation wide online, with another on the way.TOLI released their first single "Yecat's Song" live for the first time on February 12, 2007, along side UK’s major recording artist Johnny Truant. Since then, they have shared the spotlight with artists and bands who have already made their mark in music such as Toronto’s My Darkest Days, St. St. Catherine’s Flatlined, SYDNEY, Edmonton's Social Code and many more.Thousands of bands flooding Myspace make it really hard for people to take them seriously, but TOLI emerges through the crowd with their astonishingly fresh sound that leaves their audience impressed by their larger then life aptitude.Regardless how many bands are hitting the music scene today, you will remember them weather you are a fan or not.
