Why this name?
Its a flip with my real name, the initials from my first name and surname, and then added on my middle name Ayah and got the name esAyah, and since I preach my beliefs and my dearly philosofic issues and matter in my song, and try to reach out to the world with my lyrical messages, what name suited me better than MesAyah. i believe that we all could become a Mesayah, and when peeps realize that, we would no longer be in need of religion and beliefs, because we belive in our own true issues, and are in no need to seek out for guidance, since all the guidance takes place within themselves
Do you play live?
Yeah i play live, in different Hip-hop Jams in Norway, different venues, just tryin to get my message out to the people. and I love beein on stage in front of the crowd, from big ones to the small intimite concerts where you feel you know everyone in the room. i must say that my release party for my latest Mixtape: Mindgames for the Braindead, was one hella night, cool feeling, and people where just full of good spirit and my other artists also delivered the goods.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
You dont have to be signed to get your music played out there, and you can connect with people all across the world with your own music, and you will also in my opinion get soulful and real music, not somethin juz created for the masses.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label? maybe, if its a distributional contract, but i would never sign to a major label withthem handling everything

Your influences?
Every kind of music is my influence, you become what you listen to, and in every music genre there is something that can influence you.
and everything that happen around us are an inspiration for me,
there are so many things in this world that inspire to the lyrics, human patterns,
how people associate with eachother, political viewsd, everything is musical to use and old Bjork expression. and you cant divide music into different genres either, every musical expression has its roots in every music style out there, i use a lot of progressive rock music as an inspiration for my lyrical expression,
and the way i write, but i'm doin it through the style of rappin.
the sound picture i create usually has it's ground elements in a kinda musical style mix of : soul, rap, progressive, classic provided to straight spittin
