Born and raised in West New York, NJ. Nef was the son of a local musician/ Band owner/ Director and brother of a club DJ. There was no choice but to embrace all different types of music from day one. Growing up with so many talented influences around him, he was taught how to spin and at the age of 15 he started spinning house and private parties. Soon after, he hooked up with a few up and coming producers. This is where he gained a new love and appreciation for music. At the age of 18 he started spinning in local clubs and working on beats and remixes. Though he has worked often in the Latin and Hip Hop music scene, Most of his work has come through via House Music. That's where you can see and hear why he's known for his great ear for music.
