20secondsofsolitude

It started with the Beano and the first day I picked up a pen to draw! (See the connection yet?) But that would be the beginning of my first creation. Fast forward a decade or so and I am now sitting at my computer creating lots of things from Graphics to Websites, paintings to Photos and now... music.
Creating music started back in 2005 (oh so long ago) when in a really odd point in my life when I just couldnt sleep. (It has nothing to with a bad life or anything, I love my life! I just couldnt sleep.) As I spent a lot of time with computers any way I stumbled across a music editor called Adobe Audition. Splicing together a few samples here and there from a 'Boards of Canada' track I came up with track I call 'This is me...'. The title becomes obvious when you here the song as the lyrics are all about me! Then two more tracks came when I started to experiment with other sound software such as Fruity Loops and Reason 3.0. Then they all just started to flow.
'The...' EP Was just those three tracks and I think I fell in love with making music at that exact point.
As ideas began flowing, so to did the songs. HFSOAAM came soon after 'The... EP' and in my own eyes I think a great achievement for me as I have never done any thing like this before in my life. And on the plus side people actually liked it! 'Only Time Can help us Now...' and ' Where Would We be Without you?' are to be featured in short films in the near future.
My Latest compilation and something Im very happy with is my 'Electric Floodplain' EP. This was a lot longer in the making and has a very dark, mechanical feel about it, but I hope you like it.
As for the Future I am starting college at Bournemouth Institute of Arts in the coming months and Im currently working on a compilation album based on Chris Palahniuks 23 short stories in his book 'Haunted'.
This is purely non-profit. I dont see this as a career. Just something I stumbled into and something I just enjoy doing!
