living back in the bay....and just got back on myspace. hit me.

About Me

no, really, message me....I heart FUN.

My Interests

making up slang, dancing, trying not to suck a playing guitar, dissecting popular culture-backwards, trivia (especially 80's R&B trivia), writing psuedo-shakespearian-goth poems, doing things i really shouldn't be doing.

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet a girl who feels like summer and can share this poem as an anthem. "AWAKE"-- Shake dreams from your hair / My pretty child, my sweet one. / Choose the day and choose the sign of your day / The day's divinity / First thing you see. / A vast radiant beach in a cool jeweled moon / Couples naked race down by it's quiet side / And we laugh like soft, mad children / Smug in the wooly cotton brains of infancy / The music and voices are all around us. / Choose they croon the Ancient Ones / The time has come again / Choose now, they croon / Beneath the moon / Beside an ancient lake / Enter again the sweet forest / Enter the hot dream / Come with us / Everything is broken up and dances. --jim morrison

Music:

ok fine...but there's a lot, here's a sample. in general, not necessarily the "underground" or the "mainstream", but astists who are either the best at what they do or artists doing something fresh. whether they're my neighbors or they are plastered on the walls of every 14 yr old girl's room. So if you know stuff i don't know about, then tell me and then i'll tell you back. So here's a current sample; prince, stevie wonder, beach boys, postal service, dashboard, mos def, common, the roots, smiths, doors, smashing pumpkins, stone roses, dirrrty and soulful house music, the funk, reggae

Movies:

i'm kind of a critic so if pick some i'd have to kick my own arse!

Books:

"Deep Thoughts" -- Jack Handey
