About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !

I consider myself a computer nerd and am no longer ashamed of that tag. I started my blog about 9 months ago at www.chrismowder.com It is much less cluttered and easier to navigate than Myspace, but I still really consider myself a newbie as far as I don't go out and try to get 1,000 hits per day or anything like that. It is mostly just a place for family and friends, where I talk about all the usual blog topics: music, tech stuff, games, life, design, etc. Check it out sometime.

My Interests

27 Football Top News!

I'd like to meet:

Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Joe Sakic, Peyton Manning, Kanye West, Brandon Boyd of Incubus, Donald Trump, Stephen King.

Music:

Too much to even mention really. I devour new albums like some people drink water. My tastes really vary and it's pretty fair to say that if you have something new there is at least a %75 chance that I'll like it.

There's definately more bands I like than don't. Only a few major ones that piss me off: U2, Death Cab For Cutie, Coldplay, sometimes Foo Fighters suck, sometimes not.

My absolute favorite band ever is Incubus and I have been a huge fan since seeing them live at the Alrosa in 1996 when they were nobody, right after they first released "S.C.I.E.N.C.E." In that same vein 311 also rocks.

Other than that I listen to more hip-hop than anything else. Some of my favorites are: Binary Star, Jurassic 5, Ludacris, Kanye, Tribe Called Quest, any Wu-Tang, Diverse, Mr. Lif, Busta Rhymes, Dialated Peoples, Nappy Roots, Living Legends, Common, Little Brother and anything with 9th Wonder beats.

But I gotta give it up to the indie/rock/metal/emo/dance/electronic as well. You know, Slipknot, Audioslave, My Chemical Romance, James Blunt, Amos Lee, Art Brut, Nine Black Alps, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Jamie Lidell, Junior Senior.

Well, I think that's enough to say that music is VERY important to me and I like all sorts.

Movies:

"Swingers" is still the best I've ever seen, at least the best I've seen 75 times or more.

Mostly into comedy, but some others that I can think of that don't fit into that category are: Garden State, Boiler Room, Memento, Saw, The Matrix, Vanilla Sky, Rounders, 25th Hour, Adaptation, Gangs of New York, and tons more.

I try to watch at least one new movie per week, and I own a tons of DVDs but I really rarely go too see stuff on the BIG screen.

Television:

Prison Break, 24, Big Love, Family Guy, Simpsons, War at Home, Scrubs, Lost, The O.C., Conviction, My Name Is Earl

Books:

THE DARK TOWER, His Dark MAterials

Heroes:

All sorts of cool people who hack myspace accounts.
