i'm not big on heroes per say. but ian mackaye for sure. not necessarily for the sXe thing in and of itself but for what he's accomplished on his own terms and for being self aware enough to just do it. i'm slightly awed by anyone who creates art because it's something i can't do, but that's more about respect.
