Playing guitar, physics, video games, music, technology
all the dudes in the music section, and some not.
I like to listen stuff that I know takes alot of skill to play, which is why I like metal. I also dig some nice relaxing music too, and a little bit of rap.
I am awaiting the sunrise
Gazing modestly through the coldest morning
Once it came you lied
Embracing us over autumn's proud treetops
I stand motionless
In a parade of falling rain
You voice I cannot hear
As I am falling again
Devotion eludes
And in sadness I lumber
In my own ashes I am standing without a soul
She wept and whispered: "I know..."
We walked into the night
Am I to bid you farewell?
Why can't you see that I try
When every tear I shed
Is for you?
My favorite band of all time is Opeth. I say this with conviction and without a second thought. Opeth has the greatest music on this earth. I can play any song off any album, and be satisfied with what I hear. Opeth can make my eyes welt with tears, make my mind blow, and inspire me to play. They are second to none. Opeth > all

Albert Einstein. This man had a vision. He saw space and time as one entity, woven into a fabric. He challenged Newtonian physics, and proved the impossible was actually fact. I shall strive to reach even a small percentage of his intelligence.
Mikael Akerfeldt, the vocalist, guitarist, and main songwriter of Opeth. This man has the most amazing sense of music I've ever seen. His talent is most admirable, and the pure emotion he puts forth into his music in unmatched. Mikael will forever be a legend in my book.
Chuck Schuldiner, the late vocalist, lead guitarist, and songwriter for Death and Control Denied. Chuck passed away in 2001, but his music shall forever live on. Chuck's style and flair have rubbed off on me quite a bit. His knowledge of his instrument and music itself lead to the creation of the genre that is Death Metal. He is an innovator, an icon, and a metal god.
Jeff Loomis. This man is the greatest living guitarist. The things he does blow my mind. Anybody can play fast, but none can match how clean and accurate he is. Yes he has speed, but he also has a great taste. He is my personal benchmark of guitar excellence.
