About Me

I am a mix of Black, Arabic and White. Egyptian and Bosnian. Yes, I am Muslim, born and raised. If you ask me why I don't cover my head or my body, that's the beauty of Islam. I have a choice in all I do. I believe in my heart and my deed. I am a proud mother of a beautiful baby boy that I gave birth to March 5th 2007 at 8:06am!!! Every day I realize that I'm not living for myself anymore, my son is ALL that matters.I have spent time in Europe, Africa and the US. Originally from NYC, I came to Utah in early 1996 to go to school and kinda stayed here. Got my undergraduate degree from University of Utah in Linguistics and Philosophy with a minor in Arabic Linguistics. Currently pursuing a joint degree in law and applied linguistics. That might take some time as I am a full time mom and I work so I am NOT an attorney yet!!!! (i.e. NO, I CANNOT be your legal defender but I can be on your counsel)I also have a beautiful little niece named Marwah Jameela who was born 03/15/2005- she is my heart and my life, I didn't know I could ever love someone so little so much! Every day she reminds me that best things in life are free.I am a textbook example of an introvert. (before you open your mouth and sound stupid, look it up) I like to spend time alone and do things on my own. I don't have a million friends in real life and I like to keep it that way. I just choose my circle carefully.I draw from the inner world of my thoughts and ideas. I love spending time alone and with my son, I love to read as well.What this means on myspace is if I don't hit you right back, please do not send me 20 more messages asking when I will do so. My Interests

Track and field. (Ato Boldon, now retired legend of Trinidad and Tobago, and Mo Greene) Basketball -Tim Duncan is SOOOOOO underrated! The man is the most versatile forward in the damn league!!!! I love to read, I love my quiet time, I love to swim. I use to love to club. I write poetry I spend time with the love of my life- my son

Television:

Don't really watch much TV but I will NOT miss an episode of Prison Break, and I watch Monk. I'll catch a rerun of Friends here and there. And I love me Comedy Central and God bless BET for the reruns of the Wayans Brothers. MAD TV, I'm a netflix addict. Noah's Arc.
