Anyone who enjoys all above the mundane and then realizes that the mundane has it's place too.

Music:

Van Halen's "1984", Beastie Boys "Paul's Boutique", Los Lobos "Just Another Band Out of East LA", John Coltrane's "My Favorite Things", Soul Coughing's "Ruby Vroom" The Gorillaz debut album, Rufus Wainwright's "Poses" Ben Folds Five's "Whatever and Ever Amen" John Cougar Melloncamp's "Scarecrow" Hamell on Trial, The Pogues, Talking Heads, The Violent Femmes, The Blues Brothers, Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Patsy Cline, Elvis Costello, George Jones, The Who, The Clash, Rush, The Tragically Hip, REM, XTC, The Dead Milkmen, Ludacris, Run/DMC, Luscious Jackson, The Kostars, U2, The Wilders, The Young Johnny Carson Story, Trouble In Mind

Television:

"The Office" is, possibly, the best comedy every committed to the TV screen. I also enjoy Lost, Simpsons, Amazing Race, Survivor and 24. I know that list looks long, but I watch alot less tv then I use to. I know it's eating my brain.

Books:

I got a ton of 'em. David Sedaris, Stephen King, Jon Krakauer, Stephen Ambrose, Chuck Klosterman, Dave Eggers, Nick Hornby and Sarah Vowell top my list of faves.

Heroes:

Anyone who lives their life to the fullest, with an understanding of their place in the world community.

Dreamin'

I like to pretend I'm all enlightened and cool and stuff, but I can really be a snob sometimes. It occasionally bites me in the ass. Take this moment, for example: Every Wednesday I work with Freddie...

Moon the Loon

So, I've had this Keith Moon biography for a few years now, and had never gotten around to reading it. Finally, I broke down and started really reading it. Once I got past the early childhood stuff, i...

Take a picture... it won't last long at all.

Trouble In Mind has always been a DIY band, to the point where we are almost distrustful of outside help. No where was this more apparent than our one foray into being managed: the VyTas Talent A...

The Glass Teat

I'm a TV junkie. Or at least I was. Don't watch near as much now as I use to. Being a latch key kid, many an afterschool hour was spent watching Gilligan's Island and eating Froot Loops straight out o...

Beck and E.I.O.

Did anyone see Beck on Saturday Night Live this weekend? Barring the Elvis Costello/Beatsie Boys combo on an show many years ago, this was the best music guest I've seen on SNL. Beck was brilliant as ...

Good Toe/Bad Toe

A few weeks back, I was helping a buddy move a dryer out of his basement. We had it on a hand truck and were trying to get it over a curb when I pulled a little too hard and just pulled it o...
