Trouble In Mind

About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

Brought together by their need to play music, which they could only hear in their heads, Trouble In Mind was born in a small Missouri college town in the fall of 1989. They converted an old worm ranch into a studio and spent several years playing together. The band has written hundreds of songs, hosts the annual Tick Fest (rural music festival), and inspired many other Kansas City musicians to pay tribute to them by covering their works. While listening to Trouble In Mind, you will hear the high and lonely strains of old time pickers, haunting slide guitars, piercing harmonica wails, passionate pounding drums, and warm humming tube amps, all exploding into distorted power chords and whiskey soaked vocals. Trouble In Mind is all about passion, honesty, and 50lbs. of Rural Grit.
