I...I am a dancer. Mostly tap. I love to make noise...just ask my friends. I enjoy dancing because it lets me express myself. I can't play the guitar or the obo but I can make a nifty rhythm with my feet.
I am also a dance teacher. I teach tap and a little bit of acrobatics...no I can't stand on my hands or put my feet behind my head but I can teach someone else how to!! hehehehe Also I am a personal bodyguard for a few of my close friends, so if they're on my list....don't mess with them or you will feel my wrath! :) I live for anything artistic. I write (short stories, poems, random thoughts, and I'm working on my first novel), I act, sing (on occasion), draw (not very well), dance, choreograph and am attempting to teach myself to play the guitar. One of the most challenging things I've ever done was a role as a "doo wop girl" in Little Shop Of Horrors at the local theater. We did it in sign language for the deaf community. It was AWESOME!! All of the speaking parts we had "shadows" that did sign language near us so the deaf people could understand, but while we were singing we had to do the sign language ourselves. Thus having to do cues, marks, words, three part harmony, dance steps and sign language all at the same time. Let me say, for a blonde that was VERY tricky!!

Music:

I live for music and through music! There are so many songs that have helped me through rough patches in my life and so many artists that I strongly admire. There is no way for me to list all of the artists I like because I admire everyone who has the drive, determination and talent to become a musician. I've been lucky enough to have close friends that were musicians and have been able to sit around with a bunch of friends and sing horribly at the top of our lungs (the drama clan with Joe Joe on acoustic), hang out on the school sign with a man who will take marbles for payment to good music ;) (Matt), my buddy Roz who is an awesome drummer, her father Tim (RIP) who played everything, and everyone else in her family played some sort of instrument, Twas Writ (Amber) whom I spent a lot of time with in high school between drama and choir and she now writes her own songs and music. How can you not admire people like this?? Here are a few (and I mean FEW) of the artists I enjoy.Classic Rock(The Doors, David Bowie, CSNY, REO Speedwagon, Journey), Rock (Nirvana, NIN, Metallica), Jazz (Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Bessie Smith), Misc: Fleetwood Mac, Bif Naked , Live on Release (any band witha song called "I'm Affraid of Brittney Spears" is ok in my book), Poe, Fiona Apple, Anni Defranco, PJ Harvey, Liz Phare, John Butler Trio (check out Ocean in my videos...AMAZING!!). Bands YOU might not have heard of but I adore: Starving Millionares
, Miggs (if you like their myspace go see them live AWESOME!), 3rd Alley, Seed, NCR, Hayes Field, Join'r aka DreamColorBlue , Twas Writ, Last Falling, Bananafishbones and many many more (no, not the name of a band) A grown up sexier version of the bumble bee girl from Blind Mellon's "No Rain" video!! SHE ROCKS!!

The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, John Saul is good, Good in Bed by Jennifer Weiner (it's not about sex) I like to read about serial killers as well so not really an exact title or author there (yeah I'm a freak...your point?)

Heroes:

My grandmother. She's worked hard all of her life and has managed to A: Keep our insane family afloat, B: Stay moderately happy, and C: Keep her sense of humor! Anyone who can do all of that after age 60 deserves a place on my Heroes List! Also any musicians, famous or not!
