I am here for Friends

About Me

I've come close to dying several times. It's because of this fact that I live for fun and appreciate the little things. I found my spirituality 14,000 ft up a mountain, and spent most of my free time growing up enjoying nature and learning to love music of all shades. Since then free time has shrank, so I spend most of my time working and studying towards a nursing career. It appears that I have some sort of gift with helping people along. I believe in the common cause of One World (however far away it may be), and know that if you treat anyone with the respect you expect yourself, the world will be a happier place and you will get more out of living.

My Interests

I love games: Board, card, especially video & computer.
I've been a weekend ski patroller @ White Pass for 15 years now. I LOVE to ski, and the snowy mountains in general.
I hike and mountain bike and rock/mountain climb a little in the warm months.
I am eternally 10 yrs old in my mind - I collect toys, mostly PEZ. I'd like to try everything at least once in this lifetime. I can't wait to jump out of a plane.
I have a 2 yr old Collie, Rory, who pulls me (on rollerblades) down bike paths. We both love it and frequent Alki Beach and Orting when it's not raining

I'd like to meet:

People with creative flair, fun-loving personalities, and warm hearts. I respect people who are willing to admit that they can appreciate a piece of music even though it may not be their paticular flavor. I also like people who respect life and share joy often. I judge and value music I listen to based on two very important factors:

1.) The amount of the artist's energy that flows through the instruments, microphones, or air and is transfered from them to their audience.

2.) The amount of impact that energy has on me - my emotions, my thoughts, my view of the world.

The higher either of those two amounts are, the more I like and/or appreciate a piece of music.

My Father was a 60's child and loyaly followed the movement from Jefferson Airplane ('65) on. He also loved music enough to collect more music than any man woman or child would ever be able to listen to in one lifetime (in the thousands!). Because of this, I grew up listening to a lot of good variety - with a bit of a hippie foundation.
