I love my THREE children and they consume much of my not-at-work time. I also like to act, write, sing, lift weights, play basketball (been awhile on that last one). Keeping a fit mind and body are highly important to me. I love practicing a good accent, and dancing the night away. Movies are a great past-time, and I've lost more time to video games than you would believe for a chica. I'm a huge gamer and can't wait for FFVIII to come out later this year for the PS3 so I can get into something again. Otherwise, I play Mario games with the kids on the Wii.
I'm also passionate about the world in which we live and want it to be around for my children and my children's children. I've always been left-winged earthy in this respect.
I'd like to meet other cool and interesting people, and learn more about those that I already have encountered.

PEARL JAM, YES! TOOL RoCkS (favorite 90's stuff like Aenima and Undertow) PUDDLE OF MUD, CREED, early Nickleback, Faith No More, BLIND MELON FAV, NIRVANA, and EMINEM and WIERD AL - my heroes! - I like a lot of older stuff too from the 60's, 70's, and 80s (Soooo many bands to mention like the Beatles, the Doors, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd)- a helluva lot of Hip Hop, techno/rave dance and much more! I enjoy singing along with other female singers like Alanis Morrisette, Tracy Bonham, The Cranberries, B-52s (yeah!), Fionna Apple, 4-Non Blondes, Sarah McLaughlan - New band Estrum is absolutely awesome. I like some Evannescence, Faith Hill, Shania Twain (country, I know), and a helluva lot of old school rock that I harmonize with - a lot of it is surfacy but I love to sing along.
I'm a huge movie lover and have plenty of favorites. My favorite movies are comedies, silly and introspective. Knocked Up was VERY FUNNY! I also enjoy true-to-life films - Martin Scorsese rocks! But otherwise, there really are too many to list here, but anything by Quentin Tarentino has been worth watching. Braveheart has always been a long time favorite as well - historical movies and reality based films are some of my favorites. - almost ANYthing science fiction based intrigues me and catches my interest and tops my list of faves.
I watch a few shows regularly, the world news in the evening, and Lost, Law & Order (I like old school L&O and SVU), and Heroes! They are must-sees for me. Nip/Tuck, The 4400 and the Simpsons are also on my must-watch list (although I just found out 4400 has been cancelled?!). And Americal Idol is back!
I've been reading more lately (mainly periodicals) but do want to get into some gnarly psyche books for fun. I enjoy books with depth and meaning and isn't all surfacy. I love poetry for this reason.
People that lead their own lives and are true and honest to themselves (and others!) will always be heroes to me. And those that have gone after their dreams and fulfilled them help to keep our dreams alive.
It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you are not.
