About Me

"I am from under the hill, and under the hill and over the hill my paths lead." That's right, Hobbit I have been called and hobbit I suppose I am. I stand 5'4", 165 lbs, with hair, eyes, and beard of nearly the same color {though the eyes ted to turn gold in a good mood or bright light}. I am always clothed in some form of black, almost always dress casual. I am decently strong, mostly due to swordwork, and my face slips easily into a smile at wit or good humor.I am a combination of mostly Cajun, some Irish, Slovock, and a smattering of others; many of them from poor backgrounds. This odd but very rich combination has surely been part of what led me both to art, writing and music at an early age. Today, I am a poet, and enjoy writing both music and literature; though the art I fear has fallen to the wayside.I am also a Catholic, but don't let that scare you. I have studied a large cross-section of religions both Christian and non-Christian, and been a practitioner of a few of them in my years.I spend my life, or at least try to spend it, in continuing service to people around me. The idea of service, of helping people, easing their burdens and their pain, has been with me since a very young age. It is because of this that I am also trying, with various levels of success, to pursue a PhD in psychology. I am also a student of medicine, mainly Oriental and massage, though I am familiar with folk remedies and am a trained "traiteure" a Cajun healer. I hope also to complete my doctorate in psychology, so I can spend my days doing what I do now: sitting in a big chair, smoking my pipe, and trying to help people throuh their troubles as best I can.
