About Me

I am rotten- as in my health is comparable to a rotten apple. I've got Fibromyalgia with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Chronic Myofascial Pain Syndrome- a really long and fancy way of saying I am always in a whole lot of freakin' pain every dang day and night. Right now that seems to be the thing that defines most of my life, since taking care of myself demands most of my time- taking pills, pills, more pills, and putting pain relieving patches on, followed by going to the doctor all the time.My sister tells me to add wine to the list. So there it is: wine.Oh, my lovely beautiful baby girl (doggie) Miss America keeps me sane and going. When I first started getting sick, my husband suggested I get a dog to cheer me up since he'd heard dogs help people in hospitals. Oh, I'll tell you all about her every day. She does something funny, wonderful, and cute.

My Interests

I have many interests- I love reading books on history. I just read a book on Alexander the Great. I got "The Regime" for Christmas, part of the Left Behind series (part of the prequel). I also love reading "Literature". My favorite book is "Sister Carrie." I LOVED running, I still do, even though I can't; I have hope that I will be able to do it again. I am interested in giving my puppy girl the best life she can possibly have. My sister is here hollering at me to put in Nordstrom's as an interest. Yes, of course I like lovely clothing and tons and tons of beautiful shoes, as well as accessories... MMM food is a big interest. I love cooking and eating. A friend of mine told me that I was a fat 300 lb woman trapped in the body of a thin young girl.

Music:

I can't think of favorites right now. I like rock en Espanol. I listen to reggae, and Christian rock. i am pretty open to most music, except really hard rap with lots of cuss words and stuff i don't understand. I know I am a nerd- but a hot nerd.

Movies:

The Matrix Trilogy, the first Matrix is my favorite movie. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy also rocks. Underworld is mighty cool. I wish I could kick butt like Trinity and Kate Beckinsale!

Television:

I LOVE the History Channel and History International. I have the DVR set to record "It Takes a Thief" every weekday. I think "How Do I Look" is funny- those fugly people complain and say the new stuff bought for them is ugly when they went on the show because everyone thinks they look like shit. Reno 911 is pretty dang funny.

Books:

Dang, I wrote about this in the interest section. My favorite book is "Sister Carrie."

Heroes:

Um, this is really deep stuff. Of course I have to say Jesus. But of people around me, my dad and my brother are definitely people to admire. Both have overcome adversity in their youth and throughout their lives, but have managed to rise above it and get to a good place. As they continue their life's struggles, I also continue to admire them.
