DJ Hadi

Coming from a family of musicians, DJ Hadi Salem (aka DJ AcE), was pulled into music at a very young age, starting off on simple CD-players and an amateur DJ-mixer. After building the basic skill and know-how as a bedroom DJ he began spinning for events at exclusive venues and clubs, increasing his exposure and showcasing his talent. Known for his unique, energetic sets and pumpy baselines, DJ Hadi has been able to excel as a DJ, pushing the boundaries of electronic music.In 2004 he released the first of many recorded sets that boosted his recognition, giving him increased appreciation as a DJ. In 2005 while still releasing mix-sets, he released a compilation of his best remixes and re-edits; highlighting his abilities as a producer. Following his success as a free-lance DJ; he decided to increase his involvement in event organization, signing a partnership with Amplifying Studio in 2006. In addition to his recently acclaimed partnership, he worked on his new project: "The Club Tour" that was initiated by newly signed agents: ClubShifters. The project which involved 11 local clubs and venues and 2 abroad was abruptly stopped due to the conflict in the mid-east. His recent productions include tracks such as '23e' and 'The Rat'. His collaboration with producer Andy Lindsay on the track 'Unconscious Familiarity' as well as his remix of DJ Joe Mitri's 'Baile Herculane' also proved popular on local dance floors. Touched by the war on Lebanon, he collaborated with DJs from all over the world to put together the "Tributes to Beirut". Blending a mix of the tunes they believed would portray their feelings towards Lebanon the DJs put together those sets as a dedication to Lebanon, and the Lebanese people for hanging in there during the tough times. Hadi also recorded a commercial mix-set "This Is House", which was aired as a guest appearance on internet-radio theperfectmix.fm. DJ Hadi is still pumping a mix of the freshest progressive-house tunes, firing up dance floors all over the country.
