About Me

I am the head instructor and owner of Solis Martial Arts Academy in Humble, TX! visit my school at www.solismartialarts.com I am married to Cynthia for 17 years, and have two wonderful daughters, Meagan 15 and Ember 9. I love to teach and I enjoy meeting new people. I teach classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (I am a Black Belt under Carlos Machado), Filipino Martial Arts, and Kickboxing!

TX International Grappling Festival 08

SMAA took home the Team Trophy from this past weekend's tournament. Shawn Key and Eddie Avelar represented us in the 8 man no gi division, our kids did great , and our teens, and women set the example...
