Some old dead rock 'n roll personalities
Classic rock & funk, and some country western, I enjoy listening to the Beatles, the Stones, ZZ Top, Marshall Tucker Band, Pointer Sisters, Rick James, Wild Cherry, Bonnie Raitt, Trisha Yearwood, Madonna, Jars of Clay, Aerosmith, Hootie and the Blowfish, Santana, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Collective Soul, and the lists goes on and on.....This week I set a record for myself--I actually went to 3 nites of live music starring Neal McCoy, Huey Lewis & the News, and The Charlie Daniels Band. Neal McCoy is a fantastic entertainer, hey I didn't know many of his songs, but he got my toes tapping just the same! And Huey Lewis, well, what can I say? He just belted out some of those good ole classic rock and roll tunes. And as far as Charlie Daniels goes, this guy is more rock than country! Yep, just the way I like it!
I like movies with actors such as Johnny Dep, Robin Williams, Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman, John Travolta, Nicole Kidman, Nicholas Cage, Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, etc, etc, etc.
I enjoy sitcoms and most notably the classics such as Taxi, Seinfeld, and I Love Lucy. David Letterman and Jay Leno will occasionally keep me up late. I do periodically have my lunch with All My Children and The Bold and the Beautiful (I only watch soaps about once a week, that's all you need to keep up!)
Books are my life--especially since I work in a public library. Been there for about 18 years now. Biographical books on celebrities are the ones that really catch my eye.
