Music, films, reading, drinking - socially of course... Im not an alcoholic, writing, pooping, training fire breathing dragons to be my friend and toasting my enemies, eeyore from winnie the pooh (what...? he rules) general humourous bantering and other stuff that doesnt suck.
I'd like to meet:
Cool, funny people with similar interests to myself that we can disagree on haha. I always like to meet new people who are not arseholes or chavs. Famous people it would be cool to meet... Mike Patton, Henry Rollins, Drew Barrymore, Angelina Jolie, filmakers like Kevin Smith and George Romero. I would of loved to meet the late John Peel, it makes me sad he never got to hear any of my music... RIP. I did meet Johnny Morrow... cool guy, tried to sell me an iron monkey skateboard deck!
Music:
Fave bands of all time include pantera, napalm death, iron monkey, converge, dillinger ep, type o negative and faith no more. I like loadsa stuff though...mainly stuff with darkish edge, metal,death, grind, cheese, hardcore, weird stuff like squarepusher and atomsmasher and various depressing forms of other music. I'll try anything once... I might like it.
Movies:
I'll give most films the benefit of the doubt... I like going to the cinema. I like good horror, black comedy or alternative style comedy, thriller, action, independent films yadda yadda yadda... heres a few that tickle my trumpet -
day of the dead, the shining, evil dead (1 and 2) into the mouth of madness, switchblade romance, halloween, the thing, videodrome, natural born killers, true romance, clerks, dogma (well all Kevin Smith stuff really) lost highway, akira. I could go on, but I wont...
Television:
Not a lot at the moment... Im sick of reality tv and panel shows. I loved peep show, Nathan Barley, jam, league of gentlemen, spaced, bottom (anthing that Rik and Ade did) paris and nicole (its funny because theyre sooo dumb) simpsons and family guy. Old stuff... sledgehammer (wish that'd get a repeat) married with children... and other stuff that doesnt suck.
Books:
The concise oxford dictionary ...what?? It contains every book known to man... you just have to re arrange the words.
Ho ho... a joke of course. I like Clive Barkers stuff and old Stephen King (he lost the plot after a while I think when he started writing a novel a week) Neil Gaiman, I like graphic novels... the sandman, death- the high cost of living and punisher.
