April 07...Well I just returned to the drizzle grayness of home last night after my lovely adventure down south. My luggage is somewhere in Guadalajara, but I am feeling wonderful. I meant to write on my penguin day... Patagonia Argentina... literally thousands of pinguinos and one of the most spectacular experiences of my life. I am obsessed with those little guys. Toured around southern Arg and Chile for awhile and it reminded me of Alaska. Then met up with some train lifers (like me) and rode a cruiseship most of the way home... with stops in Peru, Ecuador and Costa Rica. Ended up in Acapulco... what an intense party city, but was ready for some mellow time at home. Life is unbelievably gorgeous... enjoy it. *********** February 07...Just spent the past week on a delectable little island called Ilha Grande south of rio. Gorgeous jungle and hidden beaches. Hiked and took boat trips... swam in the ocean every day. The men are all completely Ripped with their dark skin and wearing only a banana hammock. Vendors sell lemon meringue pie and popcorn on the beach. My tan. I felt like I was on an asian island in brazil... I was in my element. Went there for a little r & r before Carnaval. The calm before the storm. Back in Rio now and things are starting to heat up... what an amazing city. Have met some Fabulous peeps and having the time of my life...ok off to a booze cruise! Love you all!*********December 06...I love to travel... and since I am having the time of my life right now traveling in Argentina I decided I should write to you! Today I went to Iguazu falls and I walked out to the platform and took in the wonder of them and simply broke down and cried. Maybe I was still drunk from last night or something... (I have been on a liquid diet lately). The past couple weeks have been some of the very best days of my life. How the hell did I get so lucky? Thank you to all my friends and family for all of your support... I could not do this without you. The world is so beautiful and I wish I could share it with all of you!
