Band Members: "My mother and father said when I was around 1 or 2, I used to bang on pots and pans when I listened to the soulful classics that my parents played in the crib. I guess right then all the signs pointed toward me having a career in music.
Music has always been in my life as far back as I could remember. From my grandmother playinng piano, to myself playing the drums for our elementry school band, and to hitting rim shots in high school. It wasn't until my introduction to hip-hop that my life changed completely.
The first time I heard Sucker MC's by Run-DMC, I remember feeling a sensation that I never felt before. That christmas I got my parents to by me a mixer and a beat machine. I was the b-boy official. I started getting music from the local b-boys and from my family in New York. When I would visit my cousins in New York they made sure I tuned into Red-Alert, Marly Marl, and Hank-Love and all the underground mix-tapes.
After I graduated, I went to the Center of Media Arts, an audio engineering school in New York City. There, I linked up with all kinds of muscians and engineers from all over the world, who continue to influence my music to this day. When I graduated from media arts I moved back to NY and started my own recording studio. I started producing local artist demos and made a name for myself in the local scence. It was there I met Pauly Snubnoze and the rest was history.
Through pauly, I met JR and El Bostick, and through me, they met Rustynailz and Spliff. Together, we have put hard work into our careers and to keep the roots and culture alive in music, beleiving in the liberty of speech and the importance of original beats and lyrics. After adding D.R.C. to the roster, it all finally came together. Now we have a record label, 21st records, and the future is ours. We will make sure hip-hop lives and rulez forever..."
