I have been in the music biz since '84 where I started out promoting parties with Fusion Dance Promotions. I then worked at a Lengendary local chicago radio station 90.5 WCYC, Where we jump started alot of famous careers & helped break FREESTYLE to chicagoland & I at the time had the only HIPHOP show at the station. Working there I got to meet & interview a bunch of DJ's & Music artists like - CZR, Edward "Get Down" Crosby, Alex Peace MC,Fast Eddie,Kool Rock Steady,Tyree Cooper,Julian Perez,Bad Boy Bill,DJ JES, & the Cash Money Brothas to name a few. I also worked at one the famous record stores in chicago DJ INTERNATIONAL RECORD Store which was owned by Rocky jones (owner of DJ INTERNATIONAL RECORDS) & Benji. It was a blast working there because half the time we got to hear stuff that was in the works & yeast pressings. Thats where I really got into mixing hip-hop & alternative because at the time TECHNO was the huge thing out and frankly I thought It was all garbage. If it wasn't james brown being dead,then it was elvis leaving the building to just the most annoying record of all TECHNO time "BOING" AHHGGGGAH!! I rather endure a rootcanal with no pain killer then to listen to that,well then things got back to normal & I progressed back to HOUSE and thats what i've been spininng ever since.
But now I have to progress to that higher level you know?
Im not just happy when people dance when Im spining, I want to make them dance to what I hear,I see & I feel deep inside me.
So i've moved into producing my own tracks & my own remixes and so my journey continues thru sight & sound................ So as I quote a good friend of mine The Fast one himself, Fast Eddie "This type of music im gonna keep on makin it"
