WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN FASHION MODELS: I've no problems with the male models here in LA so far. They're all well built and they take care of themselves very well. With female models, I'm more inspired by the natural, clean, classic, even eccentric and ethereal beauties, rather than the Sports Illustrated or Victoria's Secret types. Absolutely NO silicon or botox. But I do know other talented and non-pervie photographers who do shoot that way, so I'll pass your info along.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN BESIDES FASHION AND SHOOTING PEOPLE: What, besides shopping, giving guys and girls make-overs. I like anything extraordinary. So I'm always up for anything extreme, extreme sports is cool even though something bad always happens to me, target shooting, stuff like that. But depending on time, I settle for watching good films with my closest friends and getting drunk on champagne.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU ARTISTICALLY: Music always sparks my imagination. Film has a huge influence on me. The ocean.
WHO INSPIRES YOU: PAOLO ROVERSI (mentor), Fabian Baron (I want be just like him), Russel Crowe (his films), Eolo Perfedo (love his photos), Earnest Hemmingway (need I say more), James Widegren (so talened + pure genius), Jon Behm (my reason for being), Milla Jovovich (she kicks ass + has style), Kiera Smith (perfect look as a blonde or brunette, that's a true model), Julie Kenworth (super woman), Federico Aubele (love his music, so sexy) and Asia Argento (so resourceful + multi talented).
SINCE YOU'RE IN LOS ANGELES, WE ALL KNOW IT'S VERY CELEBRITY DRIVEN, IF YOU HAD TO SHOOT A CELEBRITY, WHO WOULD IT BE: I knew you were gonna ask that. Yes it's very celebrity driven here... so for sure I'd like to shoot, Milla Jovovich, Sarah Polly, Christina Ricci, Asia Argento, Toni Collette, Christian Bale, Edward Furlong, Ethan Hawke + believe it or not, Leonardo diCaprio, ah why not, I grew up watching him, so would be nice.
WHAT WAS THE BEST MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE: Ever? At fashion shows, I love that moment when the model walks down the runway and I'm getting ready to shoot. There's that zen feeling where no one else exist except you and the model, then it's accompanied by some banging music and you take your shot. It's the coolest thing, freezing grace, elegance, beauty and attitude. I live for moments like that.
