About Me

Hi :) I'm Coretta Jean, I'm 22 years old, and I live in Denver. I'm originally from Tri-Cities Washington and I moved here 2.5 years ago... I miss my friends + family in Washington... But not enough to move back!!! I'm currently pursuing a career in Journalism at Metropolitan State College; I'd like to be a writer. I embody every bad characteristic you can think of and a little self absorbed at times (what do you expect I'm a LEO)... Although, I pride myself on testaments of high integrity, courage, and self-less giving... I guess my downfalls seem to be somewhere in the middle- Seemingly always being knocked down for bouts of unselfish wanting and unrequited love- Hopefully they outweight somehow. I'm the life of the party... As well as the buzzkill. I'm not one to hurt people, either intentional or unintentional... Extreemly loyal and the keeper of undying everlasting friendship and love. I've come to a point in my life in the last year where I've been extreemly happy and feel successful in my personal and romantic life (Even if it's non-existant). I like men not boys...I don't see a point in settling for something less. I'm currently "cleaning house" in my stagnant life... I've realized that everyone is pretty much the same- Everyone has hardships... Everyone has joys... We all laugh day to day... Some cry more than others... We all love... We all get our hearts broken... Make Love from time to time... And fail. I don't believe living should be without change... I don't believe life should be without bumps in the road... I don't believe I should live my life without emense amounts of pain or regret either... All decisions are contious decisions... I refuse to be one of those people who makes excuses for their actions based upon emotions- I don't say things I don't mean, or would have a problem repeating--- My favorite holidays are New Years & The 4th Of July. I love Christmas Music, Frosty The Snowman, Hearts & Stars, The Colors Orange and Gold, Cake & Frosting, Cheese, Brocolli, Basic 4 Cereal, and Over using the words "For Shizzle" and "Peace Out." I enjoy the simple things in life... But I can be extreemly complicated :)

Reading, Writing, Surfing the Web, Photography, Astronomy, Getting Romped, Music, Dancing, Having long phone conversations with people's answering machines when I'm drunk and sober, Jammin' Out With My Clam Out, Boys, Shopping, buying expen$ive Underware and Shoes that I can't afford, Spending time with my friends, Puzzles, Board Games, Pumpkins, Drama With My Baby's MaMa... Oh and Cake. I LOVE CAKE!!!

Jesus Christ, Frosty the Snowman, My husband, Me in 10 years ----I Don't Meet People off MySpace... So Don't Ask (I actually kinda hate men). I'll meet a guy someday or my baby daddy, whichever comes first, lol. I'm big on showmanship and hardwork, earning your keep, trudging hard for things that should be earned. Drug Addicts, Alcoholics, Compulsive Liars, Perverts, and Crackheads need not apply. I guess to describe where I am in my current "man-seeking" situation, would be the song "Me, Myself, and I" by Beyonce. I've got myself, because that's who I can rely on. More importantly who I don't want to meet: Anyone Who Smells Like Butt, Motards, Skeezers, Homophobes, KKK, Boys with smelly breath or corn yellow teeth, Vampires, Idiots, MySpace Whores, George Bush, or anyone associated with braiding cornrows into white peoples hair.
