Mister Strangerâ„¢

My name is Mohamed Echtibi. I am from United Arab Emirate. I am 26 years-old. My major is computer engineering. I chose this major because I like to use computers to do stuff in my life and work. I came from a large family. I have two brothers and six sisters. I am the fourth child. From my mother, I have four sisters and one brother. We all grow up in the same house. All my sisters got married except my brother and me. The big step in my life is to come to the USA to go to school. The reason I came to the USA to study is to see how the people live here. I want to learn more about their culture and get a good education from the richest country in the world. In my town I am known as the “son who went to another country for an education. I was one of the first from my village to leave the village for education. I am sure after six years they are wondering if I will ever come home. Inshallah, God willing, I will return home very soon. I have been in the United States for six years now and made a lot of friends from her. They became like my family because I spent all my holidays and breaks with them. In the same time I miss my family and my friends because I didn’t see them for three years now. My plan after I graduate from Chico States is to go back to my country. I will look for a job close to my town. I am sure my thinking has been changed because I lived in USA for six years. When I go back I will see the life different for me over there. I spent most of my time in front of the computer and I like web design and graphic design. I like to travel also, and ride horses. I also enjoy photography and cooking. These things are important to me, and so they should be important to my wife as well. I would love to travel with my family around the world taking pictures.
