*so i'm going to work on the bus and this sooper cute tuff lil' black kid, probably around A.J.'s age (6yrs), tried to steal my wallet. too bad the kid didn't realize my wallet was attached to a chain. he was a tuff little shit, but horribly cute cos he smiled at me all charming like while he was tryin' it. i laughed at him in "the simpsons" sort of way and told him to be cool. the funny kid tried it again with the same m.o. that was when his mother dragged him off the bus. when i gave him the peace sign he gave gave me one back. i hope he doesn't grow up to be a jerk. i hope A.J. doesn't grow up to be a jerk too. if he ever calls anyone a fag whenever i'm around i'm gonna have to knock him upside his head.
*everyday life is a routine. but i can still see life's wonders in the mundane. the situations that go along with my job. the end of a days work. the ride home on the bus. the very city i live in. i see the same stuff to and from work. but really, it's always different. notice the people you don't usually notice. the wrinkles and freckles on the back of the neck of an elderly woman sitting in front of me on the bus. the tattoos on some hardcore junkie lookin' dude's arm. the pretty soopermodel face of a hipster guy engrossed in a book. the camel toe on a hootchie mama with her braids all different colors and talkin' loud an' proud of it like it ain't no thang. good for her. i just want to cry sometimes 'cause i'm a sooper crybaby and cause pandora's box has been opened for me and it's sometimes too much to handle, this truth of reality. no one get's it. not even me. i'm too caught up in the "soopermodel" ideal.
*earlier today, i saw a flash of lightning exactly at the moment it struck. the late afternoon had been dark grey with the sun trying to peek through here an' there. the rain had momentarily stopped pouring like we were in hawaii or something. and as i was standing behind the pastry counter looking out onto the drenched parking lot i saw the lightning flash. it was like aliens were taking a snapshot of the earth.

*the other day i got smoked out in a spliffy moment and i totally got a moment of clarity. at that moment after inhalation, i really felt that smokin out wasn't for me anymore. and that myspace is a bit of silly bullshit. and that everything was stoopid bullshit. and that people were bullshit, including me. geezus, i think i read "catcher in the rye" way too many times after high school. then i said to myself, "whoa, man. don't worry about it, ya crazy ass betch." haha! then i fell asleep listening to the La's on my mp3 player.

*giving new music a chance is a major challenge in the modern world. you have to be really open minded & really into music to want to hear and accept something new. well, people are missing out because "meta ambique", the cd that Parae made before i joined them, is fucking brilliant. and i'm not saying that to kiss anyones asses. i wouldn't be a part of something if i didn't believe in it. and my musical taste is not at all reflective of society's normal tastes. i could totally rave on about a piece of music or a band or a musician or a movie or a tv show and someone else can totally think what i thought was rad was completely boring and a piece of shit. so go figure. it's all good. to each their own. respect to myself & to others, i say.
and why should people care about the music that Parae makes? because we're rad. and we're sweet. and we're really good and original. and we have a lot of potential. and if you knew me or any of these Parae people's you would support the shit out of it, right? so yeah, my mission is to make you care. haha! word, yo. ;)
i can only share the things i love and if only maybe 1 or 2 or 3 peoples get what i'm about or am into than i'm happy with that. whaddayagonnado,eh? make the whole world care. i ain't gonna lie. mmmkay. ooh, don't snatch. ;)
