About Me

I try to enjoy as much of life as I can. Married, two kids here with me, one that didn't stay here with us. I love music, the cd's in my car right now (since that's the only time I get to listen much) are Evenescence, Aerosmith, Weird Al, Cher... a slightly eclectic mix. I am as involved in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) as I can manage. There, I like middle eastern costuming and dance, european dance and calligraphy and illumination. I have a handful of other things I do there, but nothing that can be explained quickly. My kids keep me pretty busy, but I do like to read, play World of Warcraft, watch movies and sleep. I love any book by Laurell K. Hamilton, and most of the ones by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I'm learning about Wicca, and finding it a very self empowering version of religion. My brothers are flung to the corners of the country, and I miss them, but they seem pretty happy, so who am I to bitch?

Music:

Anything that strikes my fancy! (but not rap)

Movies:

Drama, action, some romantic chick flicks, anything that can scare me. M. Night Shyamalan is cool. Anything where Ryan Reynolds takes his shirt (or other clothing) off!

Television:

CSI anything! Smallville. Criminal Minds. Don't watch a lot of tv.

Books:

Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series, the Merry Gentry series (Ok, pretty much anything by Laurell K. Hamilton), Stephen King (although Dreamcatchers sucked!), Dean Koontz. Books that make me want to keep turning the pages, drama, books that can scare me.

Heroes:

Heroes? Can't think of any right off the top of my head.
