And they say where's that crazy girl? You don't get drunk on red wine and fight no more.

About Me

Insomniac, caffeine addict, and collector of interesting people (freakos).
You are Maryiln Monroe
A classic tortured beauty
You're the dream girl of many men
Yet they never seem to treat you right What Famous Pinup Are You?

My Interests

Is it just me, or is Heidi Klum always preggers?

I'd like to meet:

Dave Eggers (I hear he's pretty reclusive now, but I think he is so darkly brilliant and funny)...and...Jack Black (I know...I can't help it...He makes me laugh).also... .. width="425" height="350" ..

Music:

Ben Folds, Pete Yorn, Postal Service, The Shins, The Gorillaz, Aqualung, Travis, Jump Little Children, Arcade Fire, No Doubt (before Gwen went solo), Weezer, Blink, Radiohead, Portishead, Beck, OK Go, Tori, Ani, Rufus, Elliot Smith, The Stones, The Beatles, The Allman Brothers, CCW, Neil Young, The Doors, Zeppelin, Jethro Tull (pretty much all classic rock), Howlin Wolf, Coltrane feturing Hartman (the greatest Jazz CD ever), old school jazz like Ella and Etta and Billie, I also have a fondness for 80's music (you can't beat it at a party), and this little girl (pirated from Ms. Sarah Jane)... .. width="425" height="350" ..

Movies:

The Labrynth, The Last Unicorn, The Neverending Story, The Princess Bride, The Graduate, Sense and Sensibilty, The Piano, Harold and Maude, Almost Famous, Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine, The Big Lebowski, The Royal Tenenbaums, Office Space, Wet Hot American Summer, 200 Cigarettes, Reality Bites, High Fidelity, Waiting for Guffman, American Beauty, Life as a House, Magnolia, Quills, Sabrina, LOTR Trilogy, Stealing Beauty, Cannibal the Musical, True Romance, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Sin City, Fight Club, Garden State, Say Anything, and any B list horror movie out there...the worse the better.

Television:

I, sadly, am a reality television junkie. This is probably due to the fact that all of my favorite shows usually get cancelled (Dark Shadows, The Wonder Years, Twin Peaks, American Gothic, Carnival, Six Feet Under). I will basically watch any reality show (except for the nanny shows and wife swaps). My favorites include Survivor, The Amazing Race, Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, and any MTV Road Rules/Real World Challenge type show. I also enjoy Nip/Tuck, LOST, The Office, The OC, ER, South Park, Stella, Family Guy, and Wonder Showzen (It's so wrong yet so funny)

Books:

A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, Catcher in the Rye, Tropic of Cancer, A Spy in the House of Love, Henry and June, Cash by Johnny Cash, Pulp (or any Bukowski short story for that matter), One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Joy Luck Club, Jane Eyre, The Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice and Men, Proof (I know it's a play, but it's brilliant)

Heroes:

This man scored the ultimate job that allows him to host his own pod-cast, work as a sports writer in the comfort of his own home, and sleep as late as he pleases. If that wasn't enough, they are also paying for him to go to Vegas and cover The World Series of Poker. There will be no more cubicles for this man. He is truly my hero.

My Blog

I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so...scared!!!

The only good thing about having to get up at 7am every weekday morning is that TBS plays back to back episodes of "Saved by the Bell."  When I used to work at noon, I was able to watch back to ...
