HotFreeLayoutsAs you already know....My name is Alexis Maxey, and I live in Stillwater, Ok with my family - WiNunpa (boyfriend/best friend), Dani (best girlfriend/roommate), Monster Matilda (crazy cat), Botzi Loojaun (lazy cat), Sophia Maria (aka Sophie - THE BEST DOG EVER!), and many, many plants (all with there own speacial names that are too numerous to list). I am about to enter my 3rd year of vet school, which I loathe with an utter and absolute purple passion. However it's just the rites of passage to the most rewarding and amazing career in the world.....for me! So I guess you now know that animals/science/medicine is my passion. I guess you could say I'm a "tree-hugger" (but not a hippie - they don't bathe! *This in no way applies to all you Hideaway hippies, because you very consistently use your patuoli and deoderant rocks*)What you may not know......is that I plan to join the Peace Corps directly after vet school, I secretly love cows, goats, and llamas (sheep are stupid) and am terrified of horses (and really large pigs), and I am actively seeking Christian Science (it's nothing like what you have probably been told and it in no way resembles Scientology - stupid Tom Cruise!). I'm very happy with the life I have chosen and the person I have come to be. I have no regrets. This is exactly where I want and need to be in my life. I am blessed in that I am continually surrounded by amazingly strong and beautiful women (my girls - ladies, you know who you are). I am in love with life, the world, and traveling, and I can't wait to do and see more of it. Right now I live in Stillwater so that I can learn a few things so that I have something to offer when I am ready for the world and the world is ready for me. I know that I'm very idealistic, but there is no harm in looking at the world through rose colored glasses, continually searching for new opportunities, or knowing that the glass IS half full!

My Interests

Animals of course (health, well-being, and education for humans).....dancing(ballet-modern and classical, salsa, swing, ball room, bootie shakin', etc), medicine (human and veterinary), christian science, beading (I love making things), elephant social orders, traveling, good music, good food, and good friends........ Jesus, Mary Baker Eddy, Elvis Presley, Jane Goodall, Wayne Dyer, Beth Moore, George W Bush (so I can give him a piece of my mind), the first volunteers of the Peace Corps, JFK, Martin Luther King Jr, Jimmy Stewart, Hillary Rodham Clinton, a Bushman, you, etc......

Music:

I am open to all types of music - blues, jazz, classical, island, tribal, native, new age, celtic, classic rock, punk rock, hispanic, bootie-bootie music.........Something is always on my house, bathroom, or car.

Movies:

It's a wonderful life (my favorite), Napolean Dynamite, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Animals are beautiful people, Finding Nemo, Star Wars Triology, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, Sex in the City (I watch them all the time), Airplane, Casablanca, The Gods Must Be Crazy, Robin Hood (cartoon), Pirates of the Carribiean (Johnny Depp - yum), ...............this could get ridiculously long and you people aren't going to read it anyway!

Television:

Sex in the City, the Simpson's, Family Guy, and King of the Hill.

Books:

Bible, Science and Health, Harry Potter, Medical Physiology, Darwin's Black Box.........This is another ridiculously long list that you people are never going to read!
