KILO BROWN was born in the city of Corpus Christi, Texas. After his father was incarcerated for Drug Trafficking his family relocated to New Mexico. KILO BROWN began rapping at the age of 15 and started to record songs at a home studio with another local artist Kane. Not long after that he was asked to join a local rap group. The group record one mixtape, preformed several shows and recorded many underground songs. After a falling out with the group KILO BROWN knew that it was time to step his game up and pursue music full time. KILO BROWN was more than ready to show people he was not just a rapper in a group and
KILO BROWN knew it was time to launch his solo career.Quickly with-in 3 months KILO BROWN released his first solo project, South West Gangsta. South West Gangsta gained much underground buzz in the southwest states quickly moving units and it showed KILO BROWN had what it took to be a solo artist. Soon after the original project release KILO BROWN put out a screwed and chopped version of South West Gangsta mixed by DJ Razzo. With the momentum of South West Gangsta, KILO BROWN dropped a underground EP titled Hood Hop. Now on the buzz of having two solo projects under his belt and starting to preform shows through out the south west his life changed almost with in an instant. KILO BROWN was in a tragic car accident that took the life of his close friend, Adrian Rodgiuez. Dealing with the death of his close friend, Adrian , and with now being father, KILO BROWN decided to take a break from the rap game.After a two year break KILO BROWN was ready to get back on his hustle. KILO BROWN hit the studio and put out thousands of promo cds to show he still had what it took to make it in music. The promo cds quickly helped opened doors for KILO BROWN. After being discovered by a promoter in 2005, KILO BROWN was sent on the road doing many shows and opening for major head liners such as CHINGO BLING, LIL ROB, MR CAPONE-E, ZIG-ZAG (of NB Ridaz/Nasty Boy Clique) just to name a few. In 2007, KILO BROWN started to expand business and with the help of a rapper he crossed paths with in the passed, KANE, they started the indi lable HOOD FELLAS ENT. Not long after they started the label KILO BROWN hit the studio to record his latest album titled EVERY DAY HUSTLE. The album was finished and released in the late fall of 2007. Selling over 5,000 cds independently KILO BROWN is already in the studio working on a new album titled "Money Over Everything". KILO BROWN is currently in talks for distribution for the new album that will be released in July 2008.KILO BROWN is an artist with real life music that you can relate to...
