Kane was born and raised in Silver City, New Mexico were he was influenced and inspired by his life and others around him. Kane started rapping in high school at the age of 15 and was motivated by a close friend and up and coming rapper Kilo Brown. Kane first started recording songs as most rappers do, underground, in a home studio. Kane and Kilo Brown quickly sparked interest, created a buzz and gained a local following. Kane began making songs and started doing local shows in the Southwest with artist such as Kilo Brown and Playboy and many others.
After high school Kane moved to Hesperia, California. With the help of his cousin/artist S.I.N., Kane began to perfected his writing skills and create his own unique flow. While in California, Kane met Wreck of Wicked Minds who was impressed by his flow and ambition and started to explained to him the business side of the music. After living in Hesperia for a while, Kane relocated to Orange County, California. After living in California for many years Kane found himself back in New Mexico. Kane did not slow down, he linked back up to continue making songs with Kilo Brown. Shortly after Kane and Kilo Brown partnered up on the business side and started the independent record label Hoodfellas Ent.
Kane, Kilo Brown and the Hoodfellas Ent team then connected with Paradox Recording Studios in El Paso, Texas to release the first album from the label, Kilo Brown's first album "Everyday Hustle" which featured Kane as a guest artist. Kane began backing Kilo Brown as his hypeman at all his shows and connected and opened from many established artists like Romero of Clicka One, Zig Zag of NB Ridaz, and Rasheed of Dope House Records just to name a few.
In mid 2008 Hoodfellas Ent released its next two projects Kilo Brown's Money Over Everything and Kane's debut album titled Kane - Money Hungry. Which featured production by S.I.N and JezReal and featured artist such as Kilo Brown, Romero of Clicka One, Rasheed of Dope House Records, Albuquerque's own David Wade and many more. With a hard work ethic and major hustle the Money Hungry album was written and recorded in one month. Kane was also featured as a guest artist on the before mentioned Kilo Brown sophomore album "Money Over Everything."
Kane and Kilo Brown hit the road again and began doing shows and distributing cds from New Mexico to Las Vegas, Nevada to Texas. Opening up for many industry heavyweights such as Frankie J, Mr. Capone E, Do Or Die, Kid Frost, Lil Rob, Chingo Bling, MC Magic, the NB Ridaz and many many more. Kane and Kilo Brown's indie label Hoodfellas Ent. has sold well over 5000 units independently across the southwest and even gone international by selling units to distributors as far away as Japan. Kane and Kilo Brown have made Headline News and been featured stories on the front page of many newspapers.
As the Hoodfellas Ent gets ready to drop the 4th and 5th albums released from the label, Hoodfellas Ent looks forward to making a even bigger named for the artist and is very excited to release its next 2 projects. Kane - The Product and Kilo Brown - Ready For Whatever. Kane is currently working on that album "The Product" marking his 2nd release and set to drop in the fall or winter of 2009. Which will feature Kilo Brown, David Wade and many others to be named at a later date and will have production from Arsin, Lil Awree, Felony, and as well as international producers from Germany. Kane will also be featured on the highly anticipated next Kilo Brown album "Ready For Whatever" which is scheduled for a 2010 release date.
Kane is ready to make the jump to the next level regionally and make an even bigger name for himself as well as the Hoodfellas label and Kane's new album is definitely sure to help him reach that goal.
