The origins of Warning?!-Achtung?! all came from a 15-year-old guitarist, Sam Fenner, hungry for the opportunity to play in a successful band.
After the shambolic attempt of his old band PLEX Sam went looking for talent. Old school friend Will Merrill decided PLEX wasn't the place to remain as a drummer and went on a journey with Sam to find a front man. Being reluctant to join a band 17-year-old Matt Miller, a talented guitarist knew Sam from a local Horsforth Music Centre and met Will through one of his Birthday Partys.The idea of a 3 piece, no bass band was only a mere idea talked about for lesss than a minute, yet it soon became reality as Sam's persuasion dragged Matt into joining the band not knowing he, himself would not only be lead guitarist, but lead singer.After one practice there was chemistry. 4 Hours practice, 3 songs a few broken cookies and the foundations of a band were created, that band now being... Warning?!-Achtung?!Since forming the band has indulged in various styles and now plays as a bass, drums/ percussion and guitar 3 piece with catchy up beat individual songs with lyrics that stick in your head for weeks and vocals coming from all 3 members of the band.The band has now gone from strength to strength playing gigs all over leeds within the first few months of forming, attracting various record label’s interest such as Vertigo/ Mercury Records and Universal music, creeping amongst the top bands within Leeds and forming strong friendships with soem of Leeds' finest, popping up in NME magazine and even launching a promo cd with Hmv.Warning?!-Achtung?! Are now knuckling down and indulging in various competitions and promotional events with an aim to attract even more attention despite there large and ever growing fan base, spreading the word that Warning?!-Achtung?!
