My Interests

Okay, as some of you have noticed...I go on myspace once in a blue moon. So no more of this "Song of the Week" bullshit. Everything on my page should be monthly.

I'd like to meet:

Kofi Annan... the Secretary-General of the United Nations... I know, I'm a geek!

Music:

Song of the Month :: "Queer" by Garbage. Yes, I know this is angry girl music, but don't worry I'll still shave my legs and I won't wear black nail polish.

Movies:

Movie of the Month :: "True Romance" this love story has awesome gruesome violence every five minutes. It's your classic fall in love, accidently steal several million dollars of cocaine, try to sell it, have to kill many people to survive, and live happily ever after.

Television:

Show of the Month :: "The Riches" is the funniest show I've seen in a long time. This group of trailer towing nomads accidently kill a really rich couple, and then the whole family assumes their identities. They go from home schooling trailers to Yuppieville, USA.

Books:

Book of the Month :: "Freakonomics" Okay, so its a book I actually had to read for a class. So what. It has some very interesting explanations for random social phenomenon. You find out answers to questions you never would have thought to ask, like "How are school teachers like sumo wrestlers?"

Heroes:

Hero of the Month :: F.W. DeKlerk, former president of South Africa and Nobel Peace Prize recipient. This guy led the end of apartheid for pete's sake. I saw him speak this week and it was very dynamic and inspiring.
