Born in Brooklyn, NY the son of legendary Jazz musician Ray Draper has been quietly putting in work building a name for himself over the last 10 years. Somehow quite naturally after growing up in New York and Los Angeles, the Bay Area was the perfect place for this explosive producer to come into his own. Over the last 10 years Keembeatz has developed a raw, Smokey style bringing together a vintage feel with a modern vibe creating an original sound while making music that is refreshingly & comfortably familiar yet still new & exciting. In recent years KeemBeatz has been honing his craft working with Bay Area Hip-Hop veterans like Rich Tycoon and artists on the verge like Prince Lefty. With only a few Major projects under his belt and always looking for the next inspiring challenge or collaboration Keem recently went into the lab with industry & studio veteran Gabriel Gordon (lead guitar – Natalie Merchant). Along with all that he has been doing KeemBeatz has also been producing for a national Radio Imaging Service for the last several years. So while you may not have heard him on a single, yet! you have probably already been listening to his work for years on your local Radio Station. With the growing list of artist that KeemBeatz has provided his services to don’t look for him to slow down any time soon.
