Hanging out with friends, happy hour, singing very loudly in the car when no one is around, care bears, thrifting, making lists..don't ask, shoes, starting projects and never finishing (making my own jewelery is the latest), talking to my cat, sleeping, eating cheese, writing poetry, beating up John with my Thing hands!!

Harvey, Lamb, Massive Attack, Portishead, Morcheeba, Beth Orton, Bjork, Tricky, Zero 7, Nina Simone, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Nirvana, Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples, Kanye West, The Roots, Tribe Called Quest, all hip-hop, trip-hop and things like that. Lots of 80's, soul, reggae..Stevie Wonder, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Pat Benetar, Belle and Sebastian, The Brazilian Girls, M.I.A., The Shins, Voxtrot, The Pixies, The Bellrays, Groovie Ghoulies...pretty much everything John has introduced me to..except for some of the reallllly screamy stuff.
Horror movies...the really good ones are great but the cheesy B movies are even better....Motel Hell is one of my favs. Sean of the Dead, House of 1000 Corpses, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho, American Psycho, Evil Dead, Halloween, Silence of the Lambs.....the Blob, Wishmaster, Child's Play, Rosemary's Baby, any and all Italian horror movies...too many to list. Anything with Audrey Tatou...she's so damn cute...especially Dirty Pretty things. Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and all those movies...Dangerous Beauty, Dazed and Confused, Office Space, All Kevin Smith movies...but especially Dogma and Mallrats..Harry Potter...although the last one left out too much..Narnia was awesome..can't wait for the rest.
Law and Order, Law and Order:SVU, Without a Trace.....especially when I'm out in the field. At home... we've been mainly renting tv series like The L-Word, Sopranos and Six Feet Under.
I'm currently re-reading lots of classics and/or books I read a long time ago. The Invisible Man, lots of Vonnegut, Steinbeck...I've been reading the books by Frank McCourt (who taught at Johns college) Angela's Ashes was wonderful..I'm working on "Tis..and I just got Teacher Man for XMas.
