Biography Some say that life imitates art?But, for 21-year-old singer/songwriter Lee Wilson, his art isn't simply a reflection of his life?it is his life.Born in Boston, MA, Lee has been pursuing his passion for music since the age of 7. He and his uncle spent their time together composing songs and performing for the family. But it was his first competitive performance at the age of 13 that changed his life. Beating out fellow singers, rappers, and dancers, Wilson won over the crowd claiming first prize at the vocal and performance competition at Boston's historic Strand Theatre. It was this shining victory that pushed Lee to dedicate himself to making an impact in the music industry.With inspirations the likes of Stevie Wonder, Patti Labelle, Michael Jackson, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, and Mary J Blige--just to name a few-- it is no surprise why Lee Wilson is motivated to create an all-out stage epic; incorporating song, dance, and showmanship into one package.
