About Me

Also known as Caz, Caslo, and DJ Caz (though only in Cavite), I am a citizen of the world. I'm a geek and pop culture fan of sorts, currently a licensed physician, and a comic strip artist (yes, I still believe in Callous). A film critic, music critic, and columnist (with minimal circulation of published material, haha). I do voice acting for radio commercials from time to time. Former theater actor (though I'd jump at the chance to get back into it). I'm currently writing some short stories and one full-length novel. I'm also a short film maker, but officially, I pursue my passion to improve quality of life as an MD. I'm laid back, easy-going and love to laugh! At times I like to hang out with friends, other times I love just sitting alone in a cafe reading or drawing. I'm a super technophile. I'm one of those freaks who think that science is just so damn cool. I love gadgets and computers. I really admire human achievement. I'm also really into sports, the outdoors, cars, and spectacles where two guys just beat each other up (e.g. WWE, UFC, Pride FC, and best of all, URCC). If you haven't already guessed, I'm quite into art in most forms. Be it music (really love symphonies), literary, and visual. Sometimes I even like dance. I love the sunset, I love the beach, I love the ocean, and I love life. I adore the grandness of this life and world we live in. That exquisite blue of the sky and the sea. I still believe in valour and chivalry, which I believe should never be required from a man or be an act restricted to males, but to be appreciated when it's there. I believe in the strength of the human spirit and goodness inherent in every person. I believe in the glory of well-earned victory and the lessons and challenges of failure and defeat. I believe I can be more than what I have become, and that drives me to be all I can be. I'm a trigger hippie. I believe there is a God, and that He's more human than many of us are willing to accept. I stop to smell the roses.
