I was smart... I figured out who I was at a young age. People expected me to grow up, and when I didn't it scared them. Like I was destined to burn out at some point. I still might burn out... but it will be in the pursuit of something pure, the only thing that really matters to me, the preservation of the ideals that I was so sure about as a boy; Ideals I left for dead a few times as I grew; unconscious in the in the back of my conscience. It is only now with a new sense of purpose that I can talk with such conviction about my nascent mindset. People have called me idealist. An existentialist who believes in God? In truth, who I am is absolutely undefinable... as are you. Ideals are not to be obtained but something to strive for. Ideals are to be shared. I cannot create a perfect world. But, my question is then: should you, knowing the delusion of world peace is unobtainable, stop pursuit for that world? NEVER. Just doing what you can for people everyday will inspire and affect many... those who've just been waiting for someone to show them how easy it is to change the world. In this way your compassion will have an avenue to affect more people then you will ever even know about... across space and time... generations later a baby will be born... meditate on how the love you showed that baby's great grandmother might have then been passed down to her child, and then her child's child. Think about how your love might have been the difference between that baby's happy childhood and growing up in an abusive family. HEY! That's why I do music. I desperately need a venue to communicate to more than just the people I pass on the street. More people need to know how many feel the same as they do. This country and global politics are flawed... to the core... so many have taken the politician's truths as life truths. BwahaAAHAHahahaha! They wouldn't know truth if it burrowed into their brains, laid eggs, and 7 years later butterflies reciting Shakespeare flew out of their ears. How did I become a singer and a songwriter? It seems everyday of my life has just been training to become a better artist. I was born this way, with questions on my brain and wonder in my veins, but if there's one thing I do know its that we humans are made to HEAL. HEAL and CREATE. Create beautiful worlds... figuratively and literally. BuT, i need your help NOW! -Their will be time to destroy and die later... if I haven't done that enough already.
