About Me

I just got back from a 6 month volunteer exchange with Canada World Youth. I spent those six months living with host families for both 3 months in the south of Brazil, and 3 months about 20 minutes outside of Montreal. I can currently speak Portuguese and French, although my French could be better. hmmmmm i dont want to go to University this January, but I am... and!! I just decided yesterday I'm going to London over reading week. AND I plan on going back to South America to volunteer once again in May. so.... I think my life is pretty awesome right now.

My Interests

new music, folk fest, travel, history, reading, weekends, volunteering...

I'd like to meet:

Elie Wiesel.. Lula, the President of Brazil.. and I think it would be pretty interesting to have a conversation with Hitler... as wierd as that may sound...

Music:

manu chao... O rappa!! sweet brazilian artist... i dunno. a lot.

Movies:

The Shawshank Redemption, The Boondock Saints, The Pool Hall Junkies...OFFICE SPACE. But mostly I love historical movies ( that aren't funded by the american military) , and movies that make you think, or laugh.

Television:

seinfeld...Fawlty Towers! (john cleese = a god)....arrested development....

Books:

Blink, Catcher in the Rye, Knowledge of Angels, Stardust (!!)..
