Music:
Music encompasses everything about me! My mind, body, and soul. I can't help but always tap my fingers or toes to a beat. To me, the defining routes of all music must be appreciated! In no particular order; Jazz, Classical, Blues, and all traditional rhythms..especially Latin American rhythms. Hip hop, metal, punk, ska, reggae, rock, indie, funk(none of that progressive hippie crap), reggaeton, oldies, 80s, dirty dirty, gangster rap, classic rock, rockabilly, and even SOME country.
Movies:
"Any Independent Films" One of my new favs. "What The Bleep Do We Know!?" Also...I like gangster movies, like American Me, Blood In Blood Out, Scarface, The Godfather etc..you can't help but throw in stuff like, The Goonies, The Neverending Story, Stand By Me...and all Bruce Lee and anything old school kung foo...I like it all really, if it's a bust though...forget about it!
Television:
Food Network, Animal Planet, Discovery Channels, National Geographic and History Channels, Movie Channels when they don't play the same stuff over and over, and Cartoon Network [Adult Swim] for sleepy times! Futurama, Family Guy, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
Books:
"The Life Of The Mind" (Hannah Arendt) and right now, "An End To Panic" (Elke Zuercher-White)
Heroes:
Raw talent and raw emotion.
