Marketing, advertising, and branding. All kinds of music. TV. Arts and culture, especially choral music and theater. Fascinated by fashion but mostly just window shop and ogle pretty bags and dresses online. Hollywood. Distilled spirits. Cats.
A lot... My favorite decades would have to be the 80s and 60s. I'm pretty retro that way. Also love choral music, as I am a choral singer. Enjoy bossa nova, R&B, and standards. Once in a while I'll go through phases -- alternative, rock, hiphop, classical. There's so much wonderful music out there... why limit ourselves?
There's a lot of good TV these days! Regular faves - Grey's Anatomy, Men in Trees, and Studio 60. On my DVDs-to-buy list: Heroes and 30 Rock.Growing up, my favorite shows were Murphy Brown, Doogie Howser, and L.A. Law. In high school I was addicted to E.R. (back in the Clooney days), Picket Fences, X-Files, The Nanny, and Friends. Then later ..rek Voyager, Ally McBeal, Will & Grace, The West Wing, Six Feet Under, Sex and the City, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Boston Public.Maybe one of these days I'll write and produce my own show. Then I can make money off my addiction. :)
I'm totally hooked on chick lit." I know I should be reading deeper books but life is complicated enough as it is... I treat books as entertainment rather than a tool for self-examination. Besides, the genre has quite a few gems. My favorite chick lit authors (so far) are Jennifer Weiner and Sophie Kinsella. Some of the books I read are glorified romance novels but I'm not ashamed. Hehe.
Barbra Streisand, Meryl Streep, Steve Jobs, David E. Kelley, Brad Bird, John Lasseter, and Sidney Frank
