i'm 27. married. been with my hubby for over 8 years (married for over 2). we met in the rave scene and we were all about jump-up jungle and trance for a very long time. and other fun things that went along with that scene. my husband is my rock. he has been the one major constant in my life since we met. he has always had my back. we had our rough times but for the past few years it's been smooth sailing. the harder times made us stronger. we have never failed each other. i couldn't imagine my life without him. he's the only guy i've ever been with that's made me really want to have kids. he loves me for who i am -- he loves me AS i am -- and i don't think i could ask for more. well... maybe he could stop calling me MC Tone Def.
i work in center city philadelphia at 16th & cherry for a company called excelleRx, Inc. look for my building, the company's name is on the top in green. stop by and say hi to me sometime.
i love music. to say that music is my life would be an understatement. i spend just about every waking minute listening to music, singing, humming, or singing silently in my head. i take my ipod to work and listen to it all day long. i know the words to thousands of songs. i play that little music game on my ipod and own it every time. i fall asleep easier if i think of a song and play it in my head. my life pretty much revolves around music. my husband is a DJ. i have friends, a cousin, and a brother all in different, totally rockin' bands. i messed around with the decks a couple times but i pretty much sucked at it so i quit while i was ahead. plus i like any genre you can think of. trance, techno, breaks, jump-up, house, rock, rap, hip-hop, jazz, oldies, disco, a little country, and yes, even classical. i rock everything from bach to wu-tang.
other hobbies of mine include reading and cooking. i read any book that has a pretty cover or sounds intriguing and cook anything that sounds delicious. i love to cook for people too, so come on over sometime and let me woo you with my culinary ways.
i have two cats, zeke and zeneka (http://www.catster.com/?144039 and http://www.catster.com/?144034), and a dog, moko (http://www.dogster.com/?143322). best pets ever. moko is only 2 years old, but she's very protective of me and will kick your ass if you mess with me.

i'm highly emotional. i care deeply. usually, i care too much. i cry. i am painfully honest. and, some would say, i'm always right. i love passionately. i can -- and will -- hold a grudge. but i can forgive too. i stand up for my family. i dream big. i hope endlessly. i live vicariously. i'm a big mouth. i'm very opinionated. if i think something is wrong or someone is doing someone else wrong, i'll say so. usually that results in someone being mad at me, but that's a result i'm willing to deal with if it means opening someone's eyes to something they can't see themselves. my husband calls me a sassmaster. i'm sarcastic. i'm a flirt. i play. i joke. it's all fun and games. i love to laugh. make me laugh and you'll have a piece of my heart.
my dream job would be a criminal profiler for the FBI or CIA.

i like going to shows and concerts. especially copeland concerts. and outset shows. i wish i got to see the orchestra more often though.
i want to have kids. someday. and only 2. i do not want a middle child. or too many, for that matter.
i love animals. sometimes i wish i could convince my husband that dogs are better than kids, because i'd have 5 dogs before i have any kids. i would love to open a no-kill rescue shelter.
my biggest secret desire is to open a restaurant someday.
one year on my birthday i met dikembe mutombo at the bed bath & beyond in wynnewood.
i love basketball. and the sixers. i'm a die-hard sixers fan. i hate kobe. i love AI. and i'm a philly fan through and through. love 'em when they're up, hate 'em when they're down. but always rootin' them on. AND, i will be one of the many sporting a Denver Nuggets jersey when AI returns for his first game against the sixers at the Wachovia Center next year. i'm just waiting for the tickets to go on sale.
i was in a serious car accident 5 days before my wedding in 2004. i still have issues dealing with it. basically i'm a scaredy-cat whenever i'm a passenger in someone's car. don't worry, it's not you.
