About Me

I'm a stage hypnotist , author , magician , traveling game show producer who lives in the Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin, Texas in a little town called Liberty Hill. My primary markets are colleges, corporations and high schools (during the prom and grad night season).

If you were at a prom or grad night event, and would like to order a DVD of the show - you can get one here .

You can also get a T-shirt for only Five Bucks when you order a DVD by clicking here

You can see a shirt in my "Pics" section or by clicking here .

If you like the shirt, but are not ordering a DVD - the shirts are still only $10 - so order one now!

Visit my hypnosis website at www.SleepWithCJ.com . to see more video, pictures etc.

I also own a company Game Shows To Go that produces high production game shows at colleges and for corporate groups nationwide.

For Magicians and other variety entertainers I've written a few books which you can find out about at MoreShowsMoreMoney.com

I check in here every couple of days and I respond to every e-mail (except that pesky spam crap) as quickly as I can. Take a quick look at my Demo Reel for my Hypnosis Show (Part I) a compilation or highlight reel. Here's Part II of my Hypnosis Show Video which shows full routines, not just a quick compilation. Here's one of the game shows that I produce. It's called "Survey Says" and it's based on one of my favorite TV game shows ever. It's a huge hit at college events and corporate events alike. Just Added - Many who see me perform only know me as a hypnotist, but I also tour a circuit of 50-60 theaters throughout Texas each year with a comedy magic and illusion show, and have for the past 15 years. Here's a routine from my illusion show:

My Interests

Video games - PS2, PC, Dreamcast - that's right, I still love my Dreamcast. I enjoy webdesign, but I'm not very good at it. Ipods rule! Digital Music, Tivo, Movies, Magic, Hypnosis, Juggling, and other Variety Arts and live entertainment of almost any kind.

I'd like to meet:

People interested in coming to shows. People with great senses of humor. People with strong ethics and values. Mostly I just want to keep in touch with the great folks who come to my shows all over the country!

Music:

Lyle Lovett - is the best! Favorite "soon to be famous" are: Kissinger, Mary Arden Collins, Zane Williams, PorterDavis - and other bands that I know from working colleges.Bowling for Soup, Modest Mouse, Pat Benetar, Southern Rock and way too much stuff that came out of the 80's!In 2003 I toured with these guys for 39 tour dates: Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Aaron Lines, Jeff Bates, Cledus T. Judd - all during the Brooks & Dunn Neon Circus and Wild West Show tour.

Movies:

Goodfellas, The Departed, The Godfather I & II (do you see a mafia theme developing?), Clay Pigeons, Real Genius, The Blues Brothers, Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Adventures in Baby Sitting (yeah I admit it!), The Exorcist, Damien - The Omen II. The Big Lebowski is possibly the funniest movie ever and I could watch it everyday and still get something new out of it every.

Television:

First of all it's TiVo all the way - unless I'm in a hotel room I hardly ever watch TV live! Some shows I watch Survivor, Lost, The Sopranos, Deadwood, Nip/Tuck, The Daily Show, Penn & Teller's Bullshit (I was on the show in Season 2), The Colbert Report and documentaries on almost any subject. Flip that House and The Real Deal are great shows too.

Books:

The Harry Potter books, Atlas Shrugged, Anthony Adverse, The Chronicles of Narnia, anything by James Michenor, and Stephen King Novels prior to IT (as I've not read much since then). I like Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Robert Kiyosaki, Dolph DeRoos for motivational and investment type books and I think I've read or listened almost everything any of these guys have written.

Heroes:

Sgt. Maj. Harvey M. Gilmore - my Drill Instructor at the Marine Military Academy who influenced me in more ways than he'll ever know. Hank Reardon, Henry Roarke are incredible, and Ron Paul is an amazing man whose consistency and ability to stand by his principles is truly inspirational. As for other heroes - really I admire people who treat others like they want to be treated. I'm a big fan of ethical behavior, not lying to people, being helpful and generous with your time and your knowledge. If you do those things - YOU might be my hero.

Welcome back apathy!

Today I finally got to cast a vote in a presidential race which was FOR a candidate, not as a vote either for the "lesser of two evils" or as a vote "against" another candidate. (The first time was fo...

Remember, Remember the 5th of November

Never in my life have I been excited about a political candidate. Certainly never excited enough to open my pocketbook for one. But that has all changed. For years, in fact, as long as I can rememb...

Eragon the movie, the book!

OK - here's a warning...  If you've read the book Eragon or Eldest (and you should read them both if you like fantasy books). For gods sake, don't see the movie. I've seen bad movies before, but ...

Welcome Back Sopranos!

OK, I've been waiting far too long for the Sopranos to come back to TV.  I had to watch it in our game room because TiVo was catching something else for the first showing (TiVo'll catch the 11:00...
