I like complex and spatial soundscapes textured with a tad bit of beauty of dejected misery. And then some. Clear, blue-skied days with puffy white clouds and the sun peeking through the frozen, late winter air to sear the skin with golden sunlight-------well, that's alright by me.
The Guns Of Navarone (1961) is my favorite flick. How I Won The War (1967), 633 Squadron (1964), Mosquito Squadron (1970), Blue Velvet (1986), River's Edge (1986), Apocalypse Now (1979), Over The Edge (1979), Fantasia (1940), Brainstorm (1983), Strategic Air Command (1955) and just about any music band DVD that rocks..........and the original The Adventures Of Baron Von Munchausen (1961).
(I am totally non-plused by TV except for watching the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Seattle Seahawks.)
