During daylight hours I prefer to be outside. Low impact activities like walking, biking, snowshoeing. I'll leave the inline skates and downhill racing to younger or more daring types. Country life gives me energy, city life drains me. At night I like to settle in. A good movie is a great way to spend a few hours.
People looking for activity partners, friends and women who might want more.
MP3 players have changed my listening habits. I finally got myself an iPod Video for Christmas. It's nice to be able to carry music withe me. Some classical, easy listening, Enya, Celine Dion, not country in general but I do like Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Phil Vassar. Five for Fighting, Bruce Springstein, Bryan Adams. Not into hip hop or rap.
Lord of the Rings, Batman Begins, Superman Returns, King Kong, Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, Love Actually. So basically I like fantasy, action and chick flicks. Go figure.
Number one show is Smallville. The Office is outstanding and Grey's Anatomy is entertaining even if it is a soap opera. Mostly I watch DVDs however. With a 65" TV and surround sound, it's like being at the theater without the disruptions.
Last read was the DaVinci Code. Before that I read through the series of Sharpe's historical novels as well as Hornblower.
Interesting question. Certainly not any recent politicians. I've come to appreciate my parents more over the years but, to be truthful, I don't think of people in terms of heroes.
