Fresh off the Killa Season movie set Tone Status, the modern day Renaissance man, is back with his new album and ready to continue his quest to the top. Tone was born and raised. In Harlem Son of a Harlem Gangster turned Correction Officer and a plant-loving Health Insurance Representative. He loved to see his parents together but an unfortunate split In 92 left the young Mr. Status full of rage and without an outlet. He started to get in trouble in school and desperately searched for an outlet that wouldn't lead to prison or death. Luckily Tone found music as a way to channel his anger. Since that day nothing has ever been the same. Growing up In Harlem, NY around some of hip-hops most notorious rap Icons has taught Tone Status the Ins and outs of the music Industry. Tone Status credits Dip Sets Vice President and family friend Juelz Santana for showing him a work ethic that nobody could loose with. "Spending late nights In the studio with the lights of Jimmy, Juelz, Jay Bezel, and the whole Diplomat Family showed me what It took to be a successful artist/businessman, and .. I couldn't thank my boy Young Twin enough for bringing me into the movement." (Tone Status 91.5 FM Interview) Tone Status later formed a group with his cousin called A-Fam. The duo's chemistry In the studio was one with an uncontrolled substance. ..It as like a new drug!! Their performances always left an audience In AWE. After recording a 19 song album and before the album even got a chance to hit the shelves, his cousin Cash left And What Entertainment. "A man makes a decision and he has to live by it. I think we were really on to something with the whole movement and keeping it real family based. Business and Blood don’t always mix though I wish him and his movement the best. AND WHAT STAND UP POINT BLANK PERIOD! I birthed a lot of dudes’ whole swag; I look at situations like this and laugh. “With being a Rapper, Actor, Writer, Ghostwriter, and CEO, Tones plate is full; however, he continues to take on new ventures. Mr. Status has been featured In Cameron's movie Killa Season, Samuel Jackson's Freedomland, Juelz Santana's Mic Check Video and a whole list of independent movies. He's an active member of the VS Harlem management team. Furthermore, Tone Status and childhood friend have recently formed And What Realty. This guy is focused!!! His solo debut, The Renaissance Man, tracks his progress from being a money Inspired hustler Into CEO of AND WHAT Entertainment. Just like Tone's résumé, his rapping style is all over the map allowing him to connect with hip hop fans from all demographics. The Renaissance Man Album takes hip-hop in a total different direction. Rather than sticking to one style of hip hop, Tone creates his own mix of flows that could be compared to your Grandmothers Gumbo. He’s throwing everything in it, and it’s sure to be a classic.
